Harrogate team raise money for St Michaels Hospice

Through out the last few months our team based in Harrogate have been taking part in challenges to raise money for St Michaels Hospice.

St Michaels Hospice are a fantastic organisation which aim to provide hospice care to people in Harrogate living with terminal illness. They provide extra support to people who without, would face daily challenges due to their illness alone.

The organisation currently need five million pounds a year to order to provide this support and most of this money must come from individuals, companies and trusts who fundraise. Without fundraising St Michaels Hospice would not be able to continue the extraordinary care they provide.

So, the AMAZING team in our Harrogate office found a few ways in which they could contribute.

– Katie our Social Services Occupational Therapy Recruitment Consultant held her own Pool / Poker night to bring the team together for some friendly competition on the 8th of October!

– Sean and Gabriela, our Permanent Recruitment Consultants, Vanessa, Our Senior Pharmacy Recruitment Consultant and Katie took on the Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge which is a total of 24 miles long and 5,200 ft high. The team finished well within their target and looked very pleased about it as well! Well done guys!

Three Peaks

– Adrian, our Permanent Recruitment Consultant specialising in Radiography, took on the challenge of the Lincolnshire Sky Dive and did an amazing job! Falling 5,000 feet at 120 MPH can be extremely scary but Adrian smashed it!

– The team came together again for a further fun quiz night.

So far the Harrogate team has raised a total of £688 altogether which is an amazing achievement! RIG Healthcare are very proud of all their hard work to raise money for such a great cause. Well done guys!
